Events and Services at Dore Abbey

  • Taizé

    6.30pm Sunday 8th March, 14th June and 13th September. Taizé chants, silence, readings and prayer.

  • Quiet Garden mornings

    10.30-12 Monday 16th March, 6th July and 12th October. Coffee, cake and conversation followed by quiet poems, readings, music and time for silent reflection in the Abbey or outside in the Orchard. Closing prayer at 11.50.

  • Sunday 22nd March

    9.30am Holy Communion

  • Maundy Thursday Supper and simple Holy Communion

    7pm 2nd April We gather for a meal with flavours of the Middle East, remember the Last Supper and share bread and wine together

  • Easter Sunday Dawn Service

    6am Gather round the fire pit for an informal Easter Sunday celebration followed by coffee and cake

  • Sunday 12th April

    6.30pm Compline, a contemplative, quiet end to the day.

  • Informal Prayer

    5pm Monday 13th April. Prayer for the life and worship in our churches and for everyone who lives and works in our villages and communities.

  • Sunday 26th April

    9.30am Holy Communion
